Emerge is a group of people who meet to share experiences of Christian faith, and to   support one another in continuing to grow spiritually and in all aspects of life. We   believe in the life and teaching of Jesus, and want to share together in the journey   which this leads us on. We welcome all who would like to deepen or explore this faith.

Emerge is broad in outlook, and draws on a wide range of Christian traditions, whilst   always seeking what God is saying in our own time and to do what is relevant to this.   Our aim is to be an inclusive community, and those who come to our events are of   mixed age and background.

For some people, Emerge is their church community; others are also members of   another church for whom it is an additional support, whilst some are exploring or   occasional particpants.  There are currently around twenty people who come to our   events, either regularly or occasionally.

We meet regularly on Tuesdays at 7.30pm. These gatherings include sharing food   together, discussions, sharing what is happening in our lives, and prayer. We have a   range of other activities on a more ad-hoc basis. These include walks, concerts/theatre,   pub visits and meals, and going to other 'fresh expressions' events, and we also enjoy   sharing with other local churches in social events, services and projects.

Emerge is open to all who would like to share in, or explore, the vision we have for being   more united with God's purposes and with one another.  Please do contact us if you   would like more information or to come along.
